Web31 de out. de 2024 · The hospital treats over 500 breast cancer patients each year. It is also a breast screening unit, receiving patients referred by the NHS breast screening programme. All patients who have been seen within the breast unit with a confirmed or suspected breast cancer are reviewed at the MDM, which occurs once a week. WebSpecific cancer standards are issued separately by the Department of Health, the Welsh Assembly Government, the Scottish Executive, and the Northern Ireland Government (Appendix 1). These RCR standards will therefore need to be interpreted in the light of separate standards issued by the separate national governments of the United Kingdom.
