Web136. 39. r/Monitors. Join. • 27 days ago. After I posted the 240 Hz and 144 Hz version of this comparison, some wanted to see a 60 Hz comparison between the OLED 27GR95QE and this 144 Hz IPS LCD. To give the LCD a fighting chance, I left it on 144 Hz while the OLED is at 60 Hz. No matter how fast your refresh rate, pixel response matters. WebWhat I really want to know is if the difference between gsync vs no gsync in 144Hz is worth a extra $300 on a monitor. I know people who have upgraded from 60Hz no gsync to 144Hz g sync say that the difference is amazing, but I don't know if that's due mostly to the bigger hertz increase or also the g sync factor.

Pretty sure I remember having issues with gsync disabling with alt tab, maybe that's what you're seeing. I don't know if that's a monitor specific issue or not.

A 360hz display never made sense anyways as even pro's can't see a difference between 240 and 360 and most games can't even get to that fps or stay at it reliably if they can so gsync is pretty much needed to not have a shitty tearing experience.
