The change over from pull in to hold on the 2 wire type is taken care of by a switch in the solenoid its self. the 2 wire type and 3 wire type are not interchangeable. OMG!! I have checked the parking brake switch, left & right steering switches and the seat switch and all test OK. WebMay 3, 2014 · If for some reason, your brake safety switch is bad or intermittent, it would shut the mower off when your brought your levers in, and a restart would be very much like a dead battery. Check this little switch, wiggle the wires that go into the back of it. Jump these wires it if that doesn't work.
