WebMay 6, 2008 · The ball joints that TCI uses are a Chrysler screw in type .All of the new ones that I have installed are pretty tight, and yes the angle of the stud in the ball socket could have something to do with the tightness. Check to see that the stud is not rubbing on the edge of the ball socket ...that could cause some breakage in operation.
